DIY Knock September
We run another project at Knockengorroch. DIY Knock is a chance to come down to the farm and meet like-minded people whilst engaging in outdoor conservation, building and creative work. A large part of DIY Knock is focused on developing the Celtic Longhouse, which is a long term project to re-create in full a Celtic Longhouse such as the inhabitants of Knockengorroch would have lived in the past. The Longhouse has been almost entirely built through the passion of Simon Holmes, whose research in this area is extensive, and volunteers over the years. We are hugely grateful to everyone who’s ever laid a stone on the Longhouse and hope there will be many more to come!
