A pioneering psychedelic dub ensemble, African Head Charge has been pushing sonic boundaries since the early 1980s. Founded by former Creation Rebel percussionist Bonjo Iyabinghi Noah and visionary producer Adrian Sherwood, the band first emerged as a studio-based project with a revolving lineup of musicians drawn from Sherwood’s legendary On-U Sound label.
