Earth-quaking, brain-melting, brass-tastic! Blue Giant Orkestar are a trans-European, gold-plated instrumental hydra of nuclear brass, searing fiddle, pounding tuba, one enormous Russian concert accordion, and a percussion section that could flatten your house.

Fuelled by Balkan horos, Serbian brass festivals, Turkish pop anthems, Bulgarian accordion fireworks, and even a dash of Scottish ceilidh, they weave powerful and intricate originals with electrifying arrangements from across the world.

Formed in late 2019, BGO have brought their riotous energy to festivals including Knockengorroch, Kelburn Garden Party, Feis Na Mara, Lancaster Music Festival, and Celtic Connections—not to mention countless sweat-drenched gigs in their hometown of Edinburgh.

Their debut album Constellate (released February 2024) features a host of incredible guest musicians from across Europe. Expect a party for your body, a teaser for your brain, and a salve for your heart.
