Girobabies

A vital force in Glasgow’s post-punk scene, Girobabies craft a unique brand of rebellious, socially charged rock—where dystopian grit meets infectious fun.
From self-releasing their acclaimed debut album Who Took Utopia? to selling out Glasgow Barrowlands for their last record launch, they’ve earned a loyal following. Their sharp-witted political and social commentary has drawn comparisons to Sleaford Mods, The Streets, The Fall, and Fontaines DC.
Festival staples, they’ve played Boomtown, Bearded Theory, Kelburn Garden Party, Knockengorroch, and more—while running their own grassroots festivals and stages across the UK. With support from icons like Paul Heaton (Beautiful South), Steve Mason (Beta Band), and Alabama 3 (who called them “the best rock ‘n’ roll band in Scotland”), Girobabies are gearing up for their new album Dreams Are Mental, dropping 29 March 2025.
