We are thrilled to welcome Jiginaboot for a ceilidh in the Knockengorroch meadow!

Based in Peebles in the Scottish Borders, Jiginaboot Ceilidh Band (Jiginaboot) has been playing at parties, weddings, festivals and public events for over a decade.

With a driving, acoustic, energetic and often intricate traditional folk sound, the band will lead you through all the familiar Scottish ceilidh dances… plus a few extra special additions! Listen carefully and in between the Scottish and Irish tunes you might just spot a klezmer freilach, a French bourrée, a Hungarian reel or even an Arabic percussion solo… for Jiginaboot, a ceilidh is all about great tunes, toe-tapping rhythms and – most importantly – dancers who know how to have a good time!
