A big Knockengorroch hand for debut artists, Sonder!

Sonder are the winners of the CS Young Creatives programme Sound Waves competition. Comprised of Ayrshire-based artists Jodie Robertson, Alexandra Shrinivas, Eilidh Grant and Patricia Crozier, they started their collective musical journey in January 2024, after many years making music as individual artists and songwriters.

The meaning of the name ‘Sonder’ is the knowing that everyone has a story, and their music holds a beautiful narrative of each of theirs. Combine some haunting vocals with cinematic instrumentals, with influences from artists of the likes of Alanis Morrisette and Fiona apple and you have the culmination that creates the sound that this band strive for.
