Beguiling to watch, really really mesmerising
BBC Introducing

This May, Stacey McMullen will be filling the Shieling with his unique and addictive sound. Known for a wicked sense of humour, this genre fusing folk artist moves effortlessly between Celtic Folk, Samba, Flamenco, Blues and much more. His easy storytelling juxtaposes the emotive and moving character of his music.

You’ll be drawn in by his classical finger style guitar and flamenco techniques which set Stacey apart from the usual singer songwriter sound. His original and provocative song writing is a beguiling vehicle for his thoughts on love, philosophy and politics. Get ready to be transported as Stacey takes on multiple personas with different vocal ranges depending on the song, each giving a unique character and mood to the story being told.

From his start in his home region of the East Midlands, Stacey continues to put his audiences under his spell. He’s toured extensively across the UK and Europe and has been championed by the BBC. He’s supported ‘Bob Fox’ and ‘Lankum’ – both BBC folk award winners.

One not to miss! We can’t wait to give Stacey a warm Knockengorroch family welcome!
