“Potentially the first and only and by default greatest Scottish female rap group of all time.” – The Honey Farm, 2018.
MCs Bitta DisGrace, Pimpses hAsha and SweetHardt Dowt have been melting faces all over the floor of the Scottish music scene with their big beats, heavy flows and good vibes. The Edinburgh-based Honey Farm formed in spring 2016, after growing up together in the countryside around East Lothian. They have since packed out tents and stages across Scotland.
Already touted as “some of the most exciting new voices in Scottish rap”, 2018 saw The Honey Farm continue their slow burning global domination, notably with their inclusion in the List, Hot 100, and nomination for the Scottish Alternative Music Awards’ Best Hip-Hop category.
Consistently subverting expectations, Bangers Like Lads, Three Monkeys and Ass Bitches big up body positivity, sexual liberation and being unafraid to ask for what you want – these Honeys simultaneously skewer and celebrate rap stereotypes. Join them at the World Ceilidh 2019!
