Katch chats to Morag Brown, front woman of the progressive traditional band Awry.  Now firm festival favourites, Awry deliver the infamous, large and rambunctious Knockengorroch Sunday ceilidh. Morag talks about how it is to lead this much loved festival event, tells us a little about her band and the music and explains how she took the ceilidh virtual at Virtually Knockengorroch festival in 2020.

In this episode Katch talks to festival founders and Knockengorroch residents Liz and Simon Holmes about why they started Knockengorroch Festival – a tale of social idealism, musical discovery and connection to land and heritage.  She also chats to Jonny Hardie of Old Blind Dogs and Nick Jenkins of Outland Trio who share their memories of the very first festival in 1998.
