The Dance Bandits are based in the central belt but come from all across Scotland with members from Orkney right down to the Borders. They play sets of traditional ceilidh, songs and something with a twist. All the dances are called. 

Their members have played extensively and internationally in bands such as The Poozies, The Peatbog Fairies, Eliza Carthy Band, Aberfeldy, Callanish, Homecoming String Band, Sandy Wright and the Toxic Cowboys, Orkestra Del Sol, Cera Impala and the New Prohibition, and Bombskare.
