Named after the ‘cattle people’ of ancient Gaeldom and celebrating our ancestry, our open-air stage features a host of hand-selected performers whose music travels across the continents and back to Alba.

Giddy Up
Announcing our new venue for 2026 the GIDDY UP!
Its Chinese Year of the Horse which also happens to be Simon Holmes’ birth animal. To celebrate, our brand new venue Giddy Up will preserve elements of the Shieling, Maddie’s and Taigh Tents in one space.
During the day, workshops, stand up and singer songwriter performances will take place.
From 7pm to 5am DJs make party like only Knockengorroch knows.

Fraoch Tent
Our Fraoch Tent will host our opening party on Thursday night and run in tandem with and after the Bo Airigh greenstage over the weekend, presenting the best of local and underground live music talent till late.

Clann Tent
Announcing our expanded kids area the CLANN Tent.
Clann (pronounced ‘clown’) is Scottish Gaelic for children. The Clann Tent will feature the fantastic Kidding Around kids area, our local kids group Bairn Banter, children friendly workshops throughout the day, and later on Friday and Saturday the Headset Disco.
Disgee Tent
Centre for Food, Art and Learning
From the Disgee Strand, a wee burn alongside the Cairnsmore, beyond the Knockengorroch meadow to the South, by which sit significant archaeological remains, part of this ritualistic landscape.
Our new venue, built and designed in 2023 for our 25th year, to mark our commitment to sustainability and future generations. An intimate food growing exhibition and talks area during the festival, the Disgee will also be a year round space working with local communities, volunteers and visitors to grow food and host educational talks and workshops.
