Diljeet Kaur Bhachu is a musician and poet based in Glasgow. Working with flutes, electronics and voice, her debut album Double Lives (2025) explores themes of identity, ancestry, displacement and diaspora through spoken word and layered loops.

Poetry in the Punjab, as far back as  the 12th century Sufi mystic Baba Farid, references mud as a substance to challenge ego, promote equality, connect us to our roots; it bears witness to all that happens on Earth. Diljeet will be delving in and might even ask you to contribute to new work she will present in 2027.
