Multi-instrumentalists and songwriters, Iona Zawinski, Erez Yotam Bertrand and Helen Le-Mar, make up Pocket Monica. We are a “genre-bending” trio influenced by celtic, middle-eastern and pop music. Live instrumentation and soulful vocals accompany heavy synths and beats in our live sets, which include: harmonica, banjo, dobro, bass guitar, and TWO FLUTES.

From busking on the streets of Leith, to winning Best Newcomer at the SAMAs, we’ve grown a unique energetic sound with lyrics centered around feminism, autistic experience, and recovery.
