To celebrate our 25th year, our theme in 2023 is silver.
Silver is the colour of the moon, the sparkling Deugh river, the grass in the dew, silver birch trees and iridescent dragonfly wings. The metal of healing and love, silver jewellery brings the wearer patience, balance and protection. In Celtic mythology whoever possesses the silver branch can pass into some sort of otherworld – we reckon Knockengorroch might not be so far removed!
To mark this significant milestone we will be planting a copse of silver birch trees on Goose Island and we are planning a new commemorative garden up in the woods.
Come and celebrate in your finest silver spangly wear and party with us as we raise the spirits and a high hooley in our mountain valley…
