Postponement to May 2021

Knockengorroch - drumming by the river

In March this year we postponed our May Knockengorroch event to September, believing that it would be safe and legal to hold the festival then. As you can imagine, since then, we have been watching events unfold with the pandemic and regulations very closely.

We as much as any of you want to see the fields and hills alive with music again.  Whilst some things are opening up here in Scotland we have still not had any indication from the Government as regards live events and we cannot know what the situation will look like come September.  There are major obstacles in obtaining health and safety permissions and a license when nobody knows what the situation will consist of, especially when such applications must be submitted imminently.  In addition we do not want to place anybody at risk. The safety of everyone is our top concern.  Subsequently we have come to realise that an event of the scale which we are used to will not be possible, either legally or safely.  We are sad to announce that September tickets are no longer on sale.

We are pleased to announce that May 27-30 are our 2021 dates and tickets are available NOW. This festival is planned to be our full show with the same line-up as 2020.  September ticket holders will have their tickets automatically transferred to May.

Hang on in there and know that Knockengorroch will be back in all its glory as soon as we can possibly make it happen.  We cannot wait to see you again.
