Spider Ink have a traditional Jamaican Rocksteady influenced sound with a modern twist, a collaboration formed in 2025 between Spider J and Inkie Skyes. Spider J (Spider Johnson Etienne) is a London Jamaican musician, who  has worked with other artists like The Mad Professor, Lee “Scratch” Perry, Kioko, Crunch / Nutty Boys, with Chrissy boy and Thommo of Madness to name a few. Inkie Skyes is a Native American artist/singer/songwriter from California, a member of the Oglala Lakota tribe, who now resides in Limerick, Ireland. Inkie (Inkwelle Skyes) has collaborated with a number of artists and musicians, and formed The Proper Steady Originals (Modesto, California).
