Strange Loop is a collaborative project by Sita and Jamie that combines microscopy, moving image and live visual performance to reveal hidden worlds usually beyond everyday perception. Drawing on organic matter, plant life and microbial systems, the work transforms scientific observation into an immersive visual experience. Sita is a musician, theatremaker and physical performer who makes sensory performance works. Jamie is a visual artist, VJ and designer working across projection, digital art and live performance. Together, they create work that invites curiosity, wonder and reflection on the complexity, beauty and fragility of the more than human world.
